Hello there readers.

So today my run was in celebration of the life of Eddie Hall for my great friend Joni Fournier. This is a special day for her to celebrate someone that was a wonderful friend, and a wonderful husband and father to Allison Hall. Joni is one of the reasons why I am doing this each day as it was partly her idea. It is very special to run today for her friend. Here are a few words from Joni about Eddie:

"Eddie was an incredible, loving, caring and attentive husband, father & friend. He was a passionate sports fan and had a thirst for always learning something and challenging himself. He was very talented and well rounded in everything he put his mind to.

Eddie made an impact on everyone that he touched in his life and was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I couldn't ask for someone to love one of my best friends more than he loved her, nor ask for someone to adore her and his daughter Katie more than he did."

Today's run was really uplifting and I even ran into one of my close friends who is an Olympic trailist marathoner. Again, I felt like I was being lifted along today as I am not quite sure how my legs are still feeling fresh at mile 80 in 8 days, yet they feel great today. I also am getting a little bit of my fitness back in my pacing when I thought I would be trashed. It just doesn't make sense except to thing that some higher energy is helping me.

Cheers to Eddie and his friends and family that miss him dearly and also love and adore him each and every day now and forever!
