Hey Folks,
So the training continues for 10-10-10! for TEAM LIVESTRONG at the Chicago Marathon. I am so excited to partake in this race and run for something that means so much to me. This week was a bit hard for me because I was continuing to fight a super stomach bug. By Sunday it had settled to a point that was manageable. For the most part just like through 10-10, I just fought through it. I always kept thinking it was nothing compared to what someone fighting this disease is experiencing.
I still managed to get in a solid 42 miles which was good. I bailed on the Labor Day camping festivities to get a lot of sleep and other than running bum around the house and eat good meals with friends.
This coming weekend, we are off to visit our great friend Marleen McCormick in Chicago at the Chicago Half Marathon so I will get to run with a great friend on the turf that 10-10 will be on.
